BEEF Local and Foreign scholarships offer local and foreign scholarships for students who want to study LLM and PhD in Law. These scholarships help talented students from Balochistan to continue their higher education in top universities in Pakistan and abroad. Career practicing solicitors in Balochistan are encouraged to apply for a fully funded scholarship program under the Lawyers’ Endowment Fund for Higher Education in Law for In-Land or Foreign Studies, which will cover the following costs: LLM, Bar-at-Law, or PhD.

Eligibility Criteria for Chief Minister Scholarship 2025:
Domicile Requirement:

- Must be a local/domicile holder of Balochistan.
Admission Requirement:

- Must have an Unconditional Offer Letter from:
- An in-land university, or
- A foreign university approved and recognized by the Pakistan Bar Council.
- Must have an Unconditional Offer Letter from:
Professional Requirement:

- Must be a practicing lawyer with:
- A valid Balochistan Bar Council Practicing License.
- A Bar Council Experience Certificate verifying at least 2 years of practicing experience.
- Currently practicing law and not employed in any public or private job.
- Must be a practicing lawyer with:
Language Proficiency:

- Must have secured a minimum of 6.5 Bands Aggregate in a Valid (not expired) IELTS Test.
- English proficiency letters or any alternative English tests will not be accepted.
- IELTS is not required for in-land scholarships.
Academic Qualification:

- Must possess an HEC-attested LLB Degree and DMC (Detailed Marks Certificate).
Bond & Guarantee Requirement:
Two separate guarantees on Rs. 500 stamp papers:

- Self-Guarantee.
- Guarantee from a Gazetted Government Officer (BS-17 or above).

These guarantees must be duly attested and notarized.
The selected lawyer must return to Balochistan after completing studies and serve/practice for at least 2 years.
The guarantor will be held legally responsible for any violation, including refunding the scholarship amount.
Deferment Policy:

- No deferment of the session to the next year under any circumstances.
Reapplication Policy:

- Candidates who have previously availed of this scholarship or any similar national (provincial or federal) program can only apply again after 5 years from the completion of their previous degree.
Fraud & Legal Consequences:

- Any fraudulent documents or alteration in credentials will result in legal action.
